Support Scholarships

Since the close of our most successful campaign in the history of EIU, our #1 Priority has been to increase scholarships. By supporting scholarships, you will ensure that EIU students receive the same quality education that you had. Here are some ways you can help:

  • Create an annual scholarship with a minimum gift of $1,000. You create the criteria and may name the scholarship anything you would like.
  • Create an endowed scholarship with a minimum gift of $25,000, payable over 5 years. Once $25,000 is reached, funds are invested one fiscal year (July 1 to June 30) before they are paid out annually in perpetuity.
  • Check with the HR at your company as you may have a company match!!

Include EIU in your Estate Plans

The Legacy that is EIU continues today thanks to bequests and other planned gifts of those who have gone before us. Not ready to endow a scholarship with cash today? With a planned gift of $25,000 or more you can create your scholarship today and have the benefit of knowing it is in place for the future.
